Conor McGregor‘s quite an open person. He doesn’t appear to care much about what he says, thinks or what people say and think of him but one thing he has spoken about is banning his children from watching his acting debut.
The MMA fighter appeared in a remake of Road House, but the movie features a lot of X-rated scenes that he even starred in as his first ever movie was well praised.
So, he’s decided to ban his three young children from watching the movie so that he can preserve their image of him as he starred alongside Jake Gyllenhaal, serving as the film’s antagonist.
“Obviously, they can’t watch and never will, to be honest,” McGregor said to media. “They’re going to have another cinema room boxed off and they’ll get one of the kids movies on. I’m excited.”
He also stressed: “I’m nervous about my mother seeing it.”
McGregor retires from acting
With his hands in many pies, McGregor is a busy man and is his latest venture is something that could burst into a huge new career for him given the early praise for his performance.
But will he do it again? The answer is no. The Irishman enjoyed the film but has decided it’s too much for him and not quite the flavor of hobby that he enjoys in life.
“It was good, it was tough,” McGregor added. “Would I do it again? I don’t know, probably not.
“I’m in no talks about it, I don’t even want to talk about it.”
It was definitely memorable though as he said he went too hard on the stuntmen under the director’s guidance as he constantly asked them to shoot scenes again.
“They got f**ked up, they actually got f**ked up and they wanted me to f**k them up,” McGregor continued.
“There was like spinning back kicks to the ribs and the director was like, ‘No go again!’
“I was like, the guy’s on the f***ing floor here! But it was a great experience.”
